Welcome to St Andrew’s Walk FAQ section. These pages are designed to answer questions you may have regarding St Andrew’s Walk at St Andrew’s School, and your order.

What is The Andrew’s Walk?

The St Andrew’s Walk  will offer any family of the St Andrew’s Community, past or present, to have their name inscribed on a paving stone, to form part of the pavement leading around the new Sports Centre.

 

St Andrew’s School has engaged the services of Briconomics Ltd. to execute and fulfil all the naming opportunities within the St Andrew's Walk.

Your donation is taken by Briconomics Ltd on behalf of St Andrew’s School.

Briconomics will show on your bank statement. 

Ownership of stones will remain with Briconomics Ltd. and transfer to St Andrew’s School upon delivery and as such St Andrew’s School shall determine the specific location of each stone, undertake the installation and maintenance of the product(s) thereafter.

Why is it being created?

To give wonderful chance for your family, or year group to be a permanent part of St Andrew’s and we look forward to seeing your name surrounding our first-class Sports facility when it opens in the Autumn.

Who can donate to the St Andrew’s Walk?

St Andrew’s Walk is open to all. We welcome support for the project from current families and past students.

How does the ordering process work?

The order process is very easy, simply select your chosen product, create your account and add your personal message and checkout.  You will be redirected to a secure payment gateway. When your donation is confirmed you will be sent an Email your E-Certifcate will be attached, please take a few moments to read your confirmation and E-Certificate.  If you do not receive your Email in a few minutes please check your spam mail.  Please keep your Email /E-Certificate safe as you will not receive anything through the post.  

You can log back into your account at any time to update your details, re-send your E-Certificate or to check the progress of your order.  Please note that email notifications will be sent to the email address we have on record so please remember to update your details if you change your email address.

You will be kept updated via Email throughout the production process but please be aware that we produce the bricks and stones in batches so it may be some time before we notify you that your brick is in production, we will also let you know when your brick has been dispatched to The St Andrew's .  This does not mean your brick has been installed and we recommend you check installation has taken place before travelling to see your brick or stone in situ.  Installations dates are subject to weather conditions. 

What can I donate toward?

You can choose from a range of beautiful heritage stones with a riven finish

How much can I say in my message?

Your stone can have up to 16 characters per line which includes spaces and punctuation, up to two lines on the single stone and up to four lines on the double. The crest stone can have up to three lines.

Are the letters painted on top?

No, the stones are individually all hand engraved.

What can I have engraved on my stone?

We would like the message to include your name and year at the school or house

Examples of what you might say:

·         John Smith / 2017

·         Year 4 / Class of 2017

·         The Smith Family / St. Andrew’s School

 We reserve the right to refuse any messages we consider to be inappropriate. 

Can I change my message after I have placed my order?

You will be sent an E-mail with an E Certificate to check your inscription. If it is incorrect or you would like to make any changes there will be instruction in the email of how to do so, you can change this as many times as you like until you confirm your order or up to ten days after you have place your order after which time no further amendments are allowed.

When are they being installed?

How long will the stone last?

The manufacturer offers a 10 year guarantee on the stone

How many donations can I make?

You can choose as many stones as you wish to recognise your donation 

How do I make my donation?

Online: With credit/debit card - VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, MAESTRO, SWITCH

Can I choose my location?

No, the stones will be laid on a first come first laid basis as the St Andrew’s Walk progresses. Each stone will be laid in the next available spot.

What is on the E-certificate?

The E-certificate includes the inscription on the stone and the stones unique reference number. The E-certificate does not include the purchaser's name. 

Please note : you will not be able to change your inscription after the ten day cooling off period. The E-certificate can be printed and given as a gift or kept as your own personal momento.  Only your chosen inscription will show on the E-certificate, if you have chosen a product with the school crest this will not be on the E-certificate but will be engraved into the stone.

You can log back into your account and request a new E-Certificate at any time.

In all instances, please be ready to supply relevant information which Briconomics Ltd. will require from you in order to identify your order - Donors name, order reference or stone reference (from your certificate) and date of purchase, without this information we may be unable to trace your order.
